Fishing power is influenced by more than the rod alone. Bait, equipment, conditions and the fishing spot itself can all affect how productive a session feels.
Start with the rod and bait
Use a rod and bait appropriate for the stage of progression. If one part of the setup is much weaker than the rest, upgrading that bottleneck is usually the most useful change.
Pool quality matters
A poorly sized or awkward fishing pool can reduce results. Before farming better gear, confirm that the fishing spot itself is valid and practical.
Biome and height decide the loot table
Fishing power helps you catch more effectively, but location still determines what can be caught. Choose the biome and layer based on the item, crate or quest fish you actually need.
Use buffs when the session has a goal
Fishing-related potions or equipment are more valuable during a targeted session than casual casting while exploring.
Measure the whole session
The best setup is the one that reliably produces the resource you want with reasonable preparation, not the one with the highest theoretical number.
